I didn’t know what my fitness routine was missing before I became a PIYO fanatic. The strength, muscle definition and flexibility I have gained since beginning my revolution is incredible.
I honestly never thought I would say this, but I haven’t lifted a weight (dumbbell, kettlebell) or used a weighted machine (lat pulldown, row machine, squat rack) since PIYO came into my life 5 months ago. Will I again? There’s no saying for sure.
What I DO KNOW is that PIYO is a hell of a workout. I also know it’s a workout that has KEPT ME STRONG enough to instruct several classes each day. I have been terrified of burnout from teaching such an increased class load. I’m not saying I haven’t had very fatigued days or haven’t needed more sleep; I also have to make certain I drink my Shakeology (which is a mandatory part of my day anyway) and of course have to plan needed rest days. I’m saying PIYO has been the reason why I have been strong, uninjured, lean, defined, and felt great for the last 5 months. From warm-up to cool down, there isn’t an ounce of your body that doesn’t get WORKED. You burn mega-calories, strengthen parts of your body you didn’t realize needed that strengthening, and stretch areas you didn’t know needed stretching. And to top it all off, I haven’t met anyone who hasn’t loved it and come back for more.
